Eirias Park Boat House
Planning Approval has now been given for the changes at the Boat house. This will mean we can store more gear there and make good use of it as a base.
There has been an extension to the period by when the grant money has to be spent, and so after obtaining quotes from building companies the work will be undertaken. The timescale hasn't been fixed, and may be affected by the need to avoid disturbance to any nesting swallows that may be in the boat house roof.
In addition the new 15ft Mobile Adventure canoe has been rigged up and had its maiden voyage on the lake on 13th April. It's a lovely canoe and will be a great asset to assist in the delivery of the new 2 and 3 star syllabus. Our thanks to Sports Council of Wales for Funding this purchase.
Club Web Forum
Kev Ashton has set up a Web Forum for members of the Club to use to keep up to date with events, trips and to have your say. Click here to access the forum site where you can set up an account. Club members will be authorised to join and then you're away!
We hope the Forum will be a place members will regularly access for up-to-date information. It should help everyone to make sure you don't miss out on anything.
