Pool

The pool sessions have re-started.  See NEWS.

All the sessions are booked up so it's great that there's lots of interest in kayaking.  Sorry if you've been unlucky and missed out this time.

Every two weeks from 9pm to 10pm we have a pay-as-you-go session aimed at more advanced paddlers.  Here you can imprve your rolling, rescues etc where it's nice and warm, prior to doing it for real.  Charges for this session are £5 for Club Members and £7.50 for non members.

Those who have signed up for sessions will now have access to the Forum, where you can check the schedule and keep up to date with any changes (and there've been plenty of those!).

Kayaks

The Council has some kayaks which we are able to use on a Friday night in the pool.  These aren't really suitable for more experienced paddler, so for the last hour 9pm to 10pm people are able to take out their own CLEAN kayaks.  The pool staff do occassionally inspect kayaks for cleanliness before they're taken into the pool, and we don't want to lose this facility so keep 'em clean.
